Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup black peppercorns
  • 1/4 cup whole allspice
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 5 whole cardamom pods
  • 1 tsp nutmeg , grated
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
  1. Toast the whole spices in a clean, dry skillet. This should only take about a minute. Keep moving the spices so that they don’t burn. Let cool a moment then grind in a spice grinder.
  2. Stir together with the nutmeg and cinnamon.
